June Blankets

These are five baby blankets made for pre term infants that have died.

They measure 16 inches by 16 inches.

Some of the blankets are made with Lion brand Homespun and the others are made with baby yarn.

The yellow and mint green blankets are made with the baby yarn along with a strand of white.

June Blankets

This is the latest batch of NICU blankets.

They are made with lots of different yarns. A lot of them I picked up on sale and a lot of them are just scrap blankets.

I am done with NICU blankets for a while now. On to a big project for my niece.

June Blankets

These are six more blankets made for the NICU.

I like making these little ones because they go quickly. And it gets rid of a lot of my leftover yarn!!

The pink ones were made with Joann's Boucle, which is not a favorite to work with but I added white and it was easier.

That is a navy blue mixed with white and a light blue mixed with white.

June Blankets

More NICU blankets.

From the top down:

Pink 15X18
Blue 16x19
Wh/Black 16x16
Blue 18x22
Wh/Purple 21x20

The pink one is made with Homespun. The two light blue ones are made with Joann's Rainbow Boucle. I am not sure I like this yarn and I have more of it left to crochet with. It may or may not have been a poor choice for yarn. The white/black and white/purple blankets are made with Red Heart.

All these blankets are made with leftover yarn I have. It's been a great project for getting rid of those scraps of yarn! And the preemie blankets are fun and quick to make.

I joined in this project last year too. My daughter was a preemie and it's nice to give back a little.

June Blanket

I finished this one yesterday and it felt like it took forever to finish--I don't know why.

It is made with Red Heart yarn. Light plum is the main color and dark plum is the trim.

It is 45 inches by 45 inches. I wanted it longer but, well, it's a square!

June blanket

This is a pretty purple afghan I just finished. It's made with Homespun yarn.

This is one of my favorite colors.

The top picture is a close up so you can kind of see the color, though it is beautiful in real life.

June Blanket

Here is the first June afghan. I finished it the other day.

I've made these greens before and I think they makes a pretty afghan.
