One last March Blanket

This is another baby blanket. It's made with Lion Brand Baby in Carnation.

I didn't measure the blanket but it is baby sized. LOL

We were cleaning out a closet and I found a bag of this yarn. I was surprised to find it because I thought I had used all of this yarn in this color.

About six years ago we had a nice dollar store in town and they had this Lion Brand baby yarn on sale for a dollar a skein. That was a huge discount and I bought a lot of this yarn.

I have some of that yarn left and even a few skeins of the carnation.

It makes such a nice baby blanket.

March Blankets

This is a baby blanket made with Lion Brand Chunky. It's yarn I bought at the dollar store!! I was shocked when I saw it there.

This blanket is made for a woman having a little boy.

This is a white baby blanket and three white washcloths I made for the Auction at school this year.

The blanket is made with Bernat Baby Coordinates yarn. It has a shiny thread through the yarn and I thought it made a pretty baby blanket.

The blanket measures about 30 inches wide and about 40 inches long.

The washcloths are made with miscellaneous white cotton yarn. They are so soft and get even softer with use.

I also included a white baby toy and two white onsies for the basket this year!

Last year I made two baskets, one blue basket and one pink one. This year I decided to just make one white basket for the auction.

I made this blanket for a friend of mine who is having her first grandson!!

It's made with Homespun Montana Sky.

It is 30 inches wide by 43.5 inches long.

This is a bigger afghan this time. It's a gift for an adult.

It is made with Homespun Lavendar Sachet. It is 35 inches wide and 58 inches long.

This is a folded shawl. It is made with Homespun Grape.

It is 81 inches wide and 38 inches long.

Three more NICU baby blankets.

The purple is 19inches wide and 19 inches long. It's made with Bernat Soft Boucle. This yarn is similar to Homespun and I thought it would make a nice blanket.

The pink is 16.5w x 16 inches long. It's made with Lion Brand Vanna's Choice in Rose Mist. It's just a regular worsted weight yarn-not at all like Homespun but I liked the color.

The blue is 17.5x17 and it's made with Lion Brand Homespun.

I've made a blanket just like this one before, except a little longer.

This is made with Bernat Cotton Tots cotton yarn. I love working with cotton yarn and it makes a nice blanket.

This blanket is 30 x 42.

A bee blanket?? Yes. My daughter has some friends that are having a baby and they are decorating with a bee theme. It goes with their last name somehow.

This blanket it made with Red Heart black and bright yellow. It is 30 x 32.

I hope they like it.

Another Shawl.

This one is made with Homespun "Tudor". I've made a shawl with this yarn before.

It is 20 inches wide and 77 inches long.

I will be turning this one in tomorrow night along with the other three I posted about.

The prayer shawl ministry meets once a month.

This is made with Homespun Parfait. It is 71x35.

I saw this beautiful color at Walmart. I had never seen this color before so I bought enough for two shawls.

I think it's a beautiful shawl!

Another Shawl.

It's made with Homespun Gothic which is a beautiful purple color.

This shawl is 81 inches wide by 39 inches long. It's a little bigger than what the pattern calls for but I believe you can't have a shawl that is too big!

This makes five

This is the fifth blanket for March. I like this one. I like how the yarn self stripes.
The color is Mediterranean. This one will go to a charity. It's a male type of afghan with the browns and greens in it. I know someone will enjoy it. That is my hope anyway.

Two more blankets

Two more for this month.
The one on the left is Sunshine. It's soft yellow and I made this one for a baby blanket.
The one on the right is Coral Gables. It's an orangy pinkish coraly color.

Two Blue, or Blue too!!

LOL.
These are two blankets I just finished. The one on the left is called Montana Sky and the one on the right is Cobalt. The size on both is about 3x5. that's usually what size I make for little people.
I think they are pretty blues and they are for two little boys that I kind of know.
It's a surprise for them and I hope they like the afghans!
