A baby Falcon

This juvenile Peregrine Falcon was spotted on my husbands work site today. There are a lot of falcons near and at his work. He sent me this picture.

They aren't good flyers at first, so they'll sometimes land somewhere that Mom can keep an eye on them and feed them.

My husband said that this baby was on a walk way and some of the people tried to get near the baby. He said that mama "yelled" at them and they stepped back.

Apparently they aren't good at flying in the beginning and rest often, sometimes in unfortunate places like this baby.
